ECO N' ACTION
Short Performance created during the Artist in Residence program at
Lizè Puppet Art Colony in Taiwan
September - October 2024
Inspired by the Dongshan River and the night bloom of the Barringtonia racemosa flower along its banks, artist Nina Vogel presents a multidisciplinary performance, inviting four Taiwanese students of the department of performing art in Yilan to join her. The piece is an ode to water—the essence of life on Earth—and offers an invitation into a magical, delicate world. Through visual symbols tied to fertility and the feminine energy of creation, the performance highlights our deep interconnection and dependence on Mother Earth.
